I finally got around to joining Facebook. I have to say I’m not exactly sure what to do with it. There doesn’t seem to be much to it although you can post images and blog. I understand the use of MySpace as a free website presence even if I haven’t had much use for it. MySpace, Twitter and now Facebook just seems to me like more places that I’m going to forget to update.
Twitter I like because it’s easy, just random thoughts and promotions in one place. MySpace is useful because people can become friends and link to you and you get some idea of how many people visit your site, but as I said before I already have a website so I never used my MySpace.
I tried to add friends to my Facebook but my slow computer and slower connection makes that problematic when using the Facebook interface to look at other people’s lists and add from there.
Anyway, I’ll put the permanent link up on this page shortly but until then here is my page link:

I’m going to say right up front that it’s likely that I will not be adding much to it. I am still dead set against offering “Facebook exclusive content” because it seems pointless to me unless they pay me for promoting their site, which to my knowledge they don’t do. I just want it noted for the record that this is yet another example of me making the effort to join the gang and do what they do even when I’m generally not interested. That means I will not be getting an iPhone any time soon. Seriously, I’m not a sheep.
So feel free to add me to your lists especially if you’re a horror fan. And write to me and tell me what the hell I’m supposed to do with my Facebook now. Hey, maybe there’s a plugin that will add my blog posts from this website to my Facebook. That’d be cool, and a cheat!
Ghoultoons are still coming in regularly. I’m almost ready to reboot the podcasts, I’m doing research and still designing the show format. We’ll get there.
Now I have got to get back to working on the website for my business. I made another couple of hundred bucks this month. Yay. Need to do much better to survive, bad economy or no.
And I’m going to get back to painting and finish that zombie design.
The old Ghoulzone messageboard has been destroyed. I like saying it that way, like deleting files is actually vaporizing something that existed. Anyways, it’s history, so apologies to the handful of actual humans that signed up. Fuggin’ spam and such clogged my email and forced my hand.
Now we have a message board through ProBoards.com. Maybe this will be easier to manage, we’ll see. I still don’t expect it to become a hotbed of activity, but I sort of feel like I should provide the opportunity if you want it. Please log in to the new board linked to below, it’s a good way to reach me and I welcome everyone to join up just to bitch at me about doing more Ghoultoons and podcasts.
The link is in the upper left corner in the same place, http://ghoulzone.proboards.com
I need to get some podcasts out, so I’m used to the fact that about 3 people still come here. I know, it’s my fault for flaking on the content and the podcast. I’m working out an actual format so I can keep the shows on topic and between 30-50 minutes or something that I can get out every week since that seems to be what the peoples want. I’m all about the peoples. Kinda hard to be funny these days though, let alone every week.
Gotta go lay down and let my tri-weekly migraine run it’s course. I want to get back to my painting, so I hope
Be talking at you all soon (with luck).
